I pulled the plug wire off and no change in idle (rough) I checked for spark to plug and getting plenty I put a new fuel injector in and still dead.Ran cont. check on wires from injector to computer and ok.computer was from mail order car stuff.com Don't know what else it could be new plugs ,wires rotor and cap 4 cyl all replaced

All of the 1st Gen. Eclipse's have a common problem with the capacitors in the ECU leaking and destroying the ECU. Pull the ECU out of the vehicle and remove the covers. Inspect the circuit board on both sides and you will see either the leaking capacitors and/or the blackened circuit board. Time for a re-manufactured ECU. We're talking 95% probability on this one.

AND the fuel injector connectors frequently go bad on these cars, too. I've had mine long enough to have to replace them twice. (300,000 miles)
