cahnged the fuel filter. i am still getting crappy gas mileage. i dont hod rod it. i drive it nice. why would i still be getting crappy mileage? i also keep up on the basic maintnance and give it oil changes on time....

First, check your plugs.
If they are fouled out, you can clean them, but it's probably best just to replace them -- make sure to gap them correctly. Look online for the correct gap setting.
Change the air filter, and the breather filter too.
If none of that fixes it, you might have a clogged catalytic convertor. Fairly cheap to change at a muffler shop.

Make sure the engine thermostat isn't stuck open. The hotter the water is the leaner the mixture.
Look at your heat guage when you are driving down the highway
pull the codes and see if there are any problems :)
